About Us

Hi, I’m Hana Azalia. I run this studio with the help of my husband and a small team. I started doing pottery in college as a Ceramic Craft student and have been working with pottery ever since.

Hanamakesalot officially began in 2020 as a small Instagram page, started from a 3×3 sqm spare room at my parents’ house, driven purely by my interest in making things. Today, we have our own home studio in Kemang Pratama Bekasi, which we open to anyone who wants to try their hand at pottery.

My husband, the team, and I have been through a lot with this studio—from creating series after series of patterned tableware and home décor, to teaching classes, hosting workshops, joining art markets, and holding exhibitions.
